Francesca and Giuliano

Francesca and Giuliano are two lawyers who, after practising their profession for years in the Italian regions of Lombardy and the Marches, decide to change their lives entirely. They already owned land in the Abruzzo region and decide to return there to become wine producers.
They carefully follow the traditions of that area using only their own grapes and constantly bearing in mind the methods of working the land used previously by their forefathers.

Giuliano was born in the town of Macerata but both his parents are from the Abruzzo region . He can well remember , as a child, spending time with his uncle Giovanni, both in the vineyards and in the wine cellars. The passion he acquired for this art, at an early age, has never left him and thus his return to Abruzzo with Francesca. Never had their choice of change been so appropriate. In 2010 they produced their first and then only wine, no less than a rosé, called Tauma. In 2019 their second label, Montepulciano d’Abuzzo, hit the market and is now sold along with Tauma (which in the meantime has addended Cerasuolo d‘Abruzzo to its name).

Francesca, who comes from the north of Italy, has always played an important role in this endeavour. Without her support, none of this would have been possible. Today she deals mainly with the administrative and organizational aspects of the company and the work in the cellar.
